Kollaborationsbier - a Saison / Farmhouse Ale style beer made in Austin, TX by Jester King Brewery. 4.2% ABV
Kollaborationsbier starts with a low gravity wort brewed at Live Oak with head brewer Dusan Kwiatkowski. (Decoction mash for those brewers out there.) It was loaded into containers and brought to Jester King. From there it was added to fermentation tanks with Jester King brewer’s yeast, wild yeast, and bacteria. In making Kollaborationsbier, we brewed a low gravity wort at Live Oak with Head Brewer Dusan Kwiatkowski.

Jester King Foudreweizen follows the first collaboration with Live Oak, Kollaborationsbier. For both releases, the breweries took wort and let a mix of wild yeast and bacteria decide what the beer becomes. Brewed in January of 2015, Jester King Foudreweizen was bottled in March. Nearly 3,000 bottles will go on sale Friday, May 22nd, 2015.
